Community Health and Malaria in West Papua

ASP is working in Papua and Eastern Indonesia to improve community health, revitalise health posts and control Malaria. Our programs involve working with remote, rural communities to promote health and prevent disease. We train village health-workers and health centre staff to provide maternal and child health interventions and access to early diagnosis and treatment of malaria. We work closely with local government health departments to strengthen their capacity, health systems and to improve surveillance of malaria and other diseases.
